Ajay Kumar has over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. K. A. "Ajay" currently serves as the Vice President of Drug Development & Strategy at BusStim Business Stimulant Consultants, where they are responsible for drug development in various therapeutic areas. Prior to this role, Ajay was the Chief Scientific Officer at Symbiotic Research, LLC, where they successfully positioned the company as a center of excellence in drug development and achieved operational profitability within 12 months. Previously, they worked at Taxolog Inc. as a Group Leader and Senior Scientist, overseeing the management of drug development projects and out-licensing activities. Ajay also brings experience from their time at Fisher Scientific, where they served as a Senior Scientist and Process Development Manager, contributing to the technological advancements in the pharmaceutics and biotechnology sectors.

K. A. "Ajay" Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), completed in 1994. K. A. "Ajay" later pursued an MBA specializing in Finance at Rutgers Business School, concluding in 2011.
