Alvin King

Alvin King has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alvin currently holds the role of Principal Site Quality Engineer at Symbotic, where they focus on identifying and resolving issues at customer installation sites. Alvin also plans, executes, and manages quality activities with suppliers and customer sites. Prior to this, they worked at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. as a Planning Yard Marine Engineer, providing onsite technical support and conducting drawing reviews for ship alteration and overhauls.

Alvin has also served as a Quality & EHS Manager at Reel, where they managed and coordinated quality management for jigs and tools maintenance at Airbus. Alvin was responsible for ensuring that the performance and resources met Airbus requirements. Before that, they worked as a Quality Engineer at Fras-le North America, a Quality Program Engineer at Contech Engineered Solutions, and a Project Engineer at Mississippi Power Company.

Alvin's early career includes roles as a Quality Specialist at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama, where they provided technical support to plant operations and monitored supplier performance. Alvin also worked as a Quality Technical Specialist at Honda Motor Mfg. of America, analyzing and reporting on quality issues and coordinating changes. Additionally, they served as a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, evaluating and redesigning seawater-piping systems and analyzing cooling water systems.

Alvin's career began with an internship as an Intern Mechanical Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where they created procedures and analyzed data for the Mexa-7000 exhaust emission analysis system. Overall, Alvin has gained extensive experience in quality management, technical support, and engineering across multiple industries.

Alvin King attended Tuskegee University from 1992 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
