David Ramsey

David Ramsey has over 18 years of experience in network engineering and architecture. David is currently employed at Symbotic as a Network Architect, where they are responsible for improving network infrastructure and maintaining secure and highly available networks. Prior to Symbotic, David worked at C&S Wholesale Grocers for 10 years, where they held various roles including Senior Network Architect, Senior Firewall Engineer, and Principal Network Engineer. During their time at C&S Wholesale Grocers, they focused on improving and securing network infrastructure by implementing new data centers, SDWAN solutions, and next-generation firewalls. David also has experience working at Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Network Engineer, managing a maintenance contract for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. David began their career in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician, where they gained experience in network operations, maintenance and repair, and navigation systems.

David Ramsey's education history spans several years and includes a diverse range of academic achievements. In 1990, they began their undergraduate studies at Illinois State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electronics Engineering. David successfully completed this program in 1996.

Prior to that, from 1981 to 1995, David received certifications from Naval Education and Training in the field of SWS Electronic Technician. During the same period, they also pursued a bachelor's degree equivalent in Electronics Engineering from Naval Education and Training.

More recently, in 2021, David attended CED Solutions and obtained a Cisco CCNP "ENCORE" Course Completion Certificate, specializing in Cisco CCNP ENARSI, which focuses on computer systems networking and telecommunications.

In addition to their formal education, David has earned a CCNA certification from Cisco in August 2021.
