Steve Desir began their work experience in the US Army as an Infantry from November 2007 to November 2013. Steve then worked as a General Laborer at Gopher Resource from August 2011 to August 2014, where they recorded production data and maintained production logs. Steve worked as a Conductor at Conrad Yelvington Distributors from August 2014 to June 2015. Steve then joined Amazon as a Problem Solver from June 2015 to February 2016, where they fixed mistakes made by warehouse packers. Steve worked at Tampa Brass and Aluminum as a Melt Deck employee from March 2016 to June 2018, where they regulated the flow of molten metal into molds. Steve then became a Data Analyst at Cognizant from June 2018 to February 2020, evaluating data and providing unbiased grading. Currently, Steve is employed at Symbotic since October 2022 as a System Engineer, ensuring safety compliance and troubleshooting system and operational issues. Steve also trains operators on system functions and assists with IT problems. Throughout their work experience, Steve has demonstrated strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Steve Desir holds an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Engineering from Miami Dade College, which they earned from 2002 to 2005. Steve then pursued further education at Keiser University, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Information Technology from 2017 to 2018. Following this, Steve completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics at Keiser University from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they are enrolled in Keiser University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) program with a focus on Information Technology Project Management, starting in 2022.
