Debbie Drez

Debbie Drez has extensive experience in data governance and analytics. Their most recent role was as the Director of Data Governance at Symetra, where they established and managed a Data Governance Program and Data Governance Council. Prior to that, they worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as the Data Governance Transformation Leader, leading the development and implementation of the foundation's data governance framework.

Before that, Debbie worked at Honeywell as the Director of Data Analytics Transformation and Director of Business Intelligence, driving digital transformation and enhancing reporting and analytics capabilities. Debbie also worked at Intermec Technologies as the Director of Business Intelligence Management Systems and Analytics, leading the transformation of data sources and analytics to a centralized view of the enterprise.

Debbie's career also includes roles at T-Mobile as the Director of Business Intelligence Competency Center, where they defined a data governance and BI vision, and at Hewlett-Packard as a Program and BI Manager and Data Architecture Strategist and Manager, where they led global data and analytics initiatives and implemented an enterprise data governance program.

Debbie also has entrepreneurial experience as an Independent Business Owner. Overall, Debbie has a strong background in data governance, analytics, and business intelligence, and has successfully led the implementation of data management practices and strategies in various organizations.

Debbie Drez has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. In addition to their degree, they have obtained multiple certifications in various fields, including Open Data, Securing the IoT, Smarter Cities, Information Governance, Smart Cities, Executive Presence, Big Data Foundations, Transitioning from Data Warehousing to Big Data, Creating Your IT Strategy, Cloud Computing, SQL, and Green Belt Six Sigma Certification.
