Leah Ihnen

Leah Ihnen is an experienced professional in the field of Paid Family Medical Leave (PFML) and absence management, currently serving as the Director of PFML & Absence Product Delivery at Symetra since July 2024. Previously, Leah held the position of Director of Paid Family Medical Leave (HR) at The Standard from August 2010 to July 2024, where responsibilities included creating and leading initiatives to navigate the evolving PFML landscape. Additionally, Leah worked as a Manager for the Absence Consultant Team at The Standard. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration: Management and Leadership, both from Portland State University, completed between 2008 and 2011.
