Nick Gordon has worked in the music industry since 1995. Nick began their career as Label Manager at Mercy Records, where they were responsible for marketing, promotion, and distribution. Nick then moved on to V&R Distribution as Vice President of Label Relations & Artist Development, where they signed and nurtured relationships with regional independent record labels and artists. In 1998, Nick founded and became President of Artist Workshop, Inc., a social/commerce website for musicians and visual artists. Nick later sold the company to private investors. In 2001, they became Distributed Labels Manager at Caroline Distribution, where they monitored label financial standing and oversaw marketing campaigns, inventory, and manufacturing. Nick received the company's award for breakout client service in 2005. In 2006, Nick joined The Orchard as Vice President of Client Services. Nick was a key innovator responsible for spearheading groundbreaking product launches, client signings, operational evolution, and hires that contributed to the company's rise to market leader in independent music distribution. In 2014, Nick became Business Unit Manager of Percussion at D'Addario & Company, Inc., leading a major strategic overhaul for the multimillion dollar division. In 2018, they joined Symphonic Distribution as Chief Partnership Officer and Chief Client Officer, the first music executive hired following Symphonic's Series A round of funding. Nick recruited key C-Level industry executives, built a global A&R and client development team, and guided the company through a competitive period, resulting in a 40% YOY increase in revenue and a 9x valuation growth. In 2021, Nick became Owner & Creative Director of Love, Velma, LLC, a private social club + performance venue based in The Catskills, focused on jazz, cabaret, and roots music.

Nick Gordon attended The University of Kansas from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication. In 2015, they attended Pragmatic Marketing in New York, where they received a Level 4 Certification in Foundations, Focus, Build, and Market. Nick is currently enrolled at New York University, studying Project Management.
