Nemanja Tomic

Nemanja Tomic has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Nemanja began their career as a Software Developer at G-Softic in 2010 and later worked as a Freelance Web Programmer. In 2013, they joined DEVTECH as a Software Developer and then became a Team Lead in 2014.

In 2016, Nemanja moved to TKN Innovative where they served as a Solutions Architect, responsible for designing and implementing high-level software solutions. Nemanja stayed there until 2017 when they joined symphony.is as a Software Engineer. In this role, they led teams working on .NET, Python, and Java projects, and was involved in all phases of system design and development.

At symphony.is, Nemanja quickly progressed to become the Head of Software Engineering in 2018. Nemanja was responsible for establishing processes and frameworks to support the growth of the engineering department in the Novi Sad hub. Nemanja also provided technical direction and leadership to ensure high engineering quality. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director of Engineering.

Nemanja Tomic began their education in 2006 at the College of Technology in Novi Sad, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Information Technology in 2010. Following this, from 2010 to 2011, they pursued further education at the same institution and achieved a Specialist-Applied Engineer degree in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce. Nemanja also holds several additional certifications in cloud computing, including Cloud Networking, Cloud Computing Applications, and Cloud Computing Concepts Parts 1 and 2, which were obtained through Coursera Course Certificates.
