Lim Choo Hooi

Mr. Lim Choo Hooi, a Malaysian, aged 51, was appointed to the Board on 2o October 2021. He graduated with a Degree in Law from the University of Malaya. He obtained his professional qualification in Advocate and Solicitor from the High Court of Malaya.

Mr. Lim has been practicing as an advocate and solicitor since the start of his career. In 1997, he set up a partnership legal firm under the name of Messrs. J. Tan & C. H. Lim in Penang and specializes in areas such as corporate restructuring, real estate, infrastructure, dispute resolution, civil litigation, and general corporate advisory matters.

Mr. Lim has also been involved in legal affairs at all stages of Malaysia’s real estate market. He has extensive experience in real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and private placement of real estate projects, commercial real estate investment and operation, and resolution of disputes in cooperative development.
