Emilio Rutllant

Emilio Rutllant's work experience includes roles such as Principal Flute at Symphony of the Americas starting in 2023, Adjunct Professor of Flute at Indian River State College since 2020, and Flute/Piccolo at Pittsburgh Opera from 2019 to 2023. Emilio has also worked as a Patient Care Technician at Fresenius Kidney Care from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they were a Rosemary & David Good Fellow at Minnesota Orchestra from 2018 to 2020, a Flute & Piccolo player at Miami City Ballet from 2013 to 2018, and a Henry Mancini Institute Flute Fellow at Frost School of Music from 2013 to 2016. Emilio also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Flute at University of Miami from 2012 to 2016, an Adjunct Instructor of Flute at Indian River State College from 2014 to 2015, and they began their musical career as a Student at Stetson University from 2009 to 2012.

Emilio Rutllant holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Flute Performance & Musicology from the University of Miami, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Flute Performance at the same institution from 2012 to 2014. Emilio's bachelor's degree in Music Performance, with a specialization in Flute, was earned from Stetson University from 2009 to 2012.
