Steven P. Haines

Steven Haines has a diverse work experience spanning various executive and leadership roles in the arts and entertainment industry. Steven currently serves as the Executive Director for Symphony of the Americas since 2021. Previously, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Tucson Symphony Orchestra from December 2019 to October 2020 and at The Young Americans from August 2017 to October 2019. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Strategic Growth & Marketing at San Francisco Zoo from May 2016 to August 2017. Steven also served on the board of San Francisco Travel Association from July 2010 to August 2017. Prior to these roles, they were the Executive Director at Stern Grove Festival Association from October 2006 to March 2016 and Vice President of POPS at Philadelphia Orchestra Association from July 2005 to October 2006. Earlier in their career, Steven served as the President and CEO at Encore Series, Inc/Peter Nero and the Philly Pops from May 1999 to June 2005 and Associate Director of Marketing at Florida Philharmonic Orchestra from 1995 to 1997.

Steven Haines earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in French Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in the period from 1987 to 1991. Steven also briefly attended Ecole superieure de commerce, Toulon in 1989, although no degree or field of study is specified.
