Role Description:

Symphony is seeking a skilled communicator, organizer, and relationship-builder to contribute to the management of the Product & Engineering (PE) Organization. In this role, you will foster connections with key stakeholders and spearhead initiatives within PE alongside strategic partners. 

Your primary focus will be to establish the necessary framework for teams to execute the company's strategy effectively, aid in strategic planning, and oversee key PE projects related primarily to business planning, communication, and internal governance. As a “swiss army knife”, you will be capable of driving or supporting initiatives across various teams as required by the organization.

Responsibilities:

Chief of Staff to the CPO

  • Product roadmaps: manage the roadmap creation process to deliver and communicate Product roadmaps every quarter.
  • Innovate event (Symphony flagship customer conference): partner with Marketing and Communications teams to facilitate the event (support to CPO and Product leaders in building product demo scripts)
  • Reporting: Enhance visibility regarding product accomplishments, projects, and initiatives at both the company and Board levels. This passes by coordinating content production for Company all hands, Product & Engineering all hands, Board of directors reports & presentations,
  • Meetings management: Facilitate product senior leadership meetings (e.g. weekly presenter scheduling) …

Strategic Program Management

  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM): Oversee the process in partnership with relevant stakeholders across the company (encompassing Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Security,..) to ensure successful product and feature launches.
  • Additional assignments: Step in to run programs / transversal initiatives based on management needs 

Business Planning & Operations for Product & Engineering

  • Product & Engineering all hands: schedule, build agenda and act as MC for Product & Engineering All Hands 
  • Knowledge management: Ensure key documentations/materials are always up to date (domain organization mapping, PE org. charts, org-specific chat rooms, distribution lists, confluence pages,.. ). Promote internal knowledge-sharing through dedicated events such as retrospectives, share outs, and educational sessions.
  • Technical communications: act as product owner to deliver timely, high-quality technical documentation and Help Center articles to our customers.
  • Business planning: Based on needs, support the Strategic Planning & Operations team with budgeting, cost tracking, purchasing, reporting,...related to PE Organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Project management, or related field
  • Proven experience in the IT sector and/or in a product management group is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Can build effective working relationships with all levels of seniority
  • Autonomous and innovative
  • Appetite for continuous learning
