Role Description:

Symphony is looking for exceptional Senior Mobile Software Engineers who are eager to deliver a best-in-class mobile application to Symphony’s enterprise customers. We are looking for talented mobile engineers to join our iOS or Android team. This position reports to the Head of Mobile Engineering and is based in our Sophia-Antipolis, France office.

Responsibilities:

This role will include working across multiple time zones with customers, developers, third party vendors and support teams to manage deployment and troubleshoot deployment related issues. 

  • Developing and maintaining new features, complete with unit tests and automation cases for the features you develop. 
  • Improving existing code quality by adding automation/unit test cases and refactoring existing codebase to meet our quality standards
  • Work with the product and design teams to develop best of class product features to meet our customers’ needs. 
  • Help customers adopt our solution and troubleshoot their issues. 
  • Help manage the backlog, by defining engineering tasks for product stories and define architectural modules that fit in the overall design of the app. 
  • Keeping abreast of the latest technical / industry developments within the mobile arena i.e terminology, concepts and best practices for developing our suite mobile apps

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience in a software development role
  • Proven applications Experience with git, continuous integration (CircleCI), Unit and Automated testing
  • Proven experience developing iOS (Swift / ObjC) or Android (Java / Kotlin) applications Previous work on agile teams, knowledge of the processes in scrum
  • Good Command of English communication, written and speaking
  • Experience with MDM/EMM solutions such as Good, MobileIron, or Airwatch
  • Experience with SSO, Proxy services, app wrapping technologies
