Sergio San Miguel has a diverse work experience in the technology and financial industries. Sergio currently serves as the Admin & Compliance Product Manager at Symphony, where they lead the development and administration of the Symphony Admin & Compliance products. Prior to this, Sergio worked at Amadeus for several years, holding various roles as a Product Development Analyst. In these positions, they were responsible for defining specifications, conducting functional validation, and understanding the needs of both airlines and clients. Before Amadeus, Sergio worked as a Development Engineer at SeeByte, where they were involved in the full software development lifecycle and the redesign of the user interface. Sergio also gained experience as an Intern at NICTA, where they improved the user experience of an Interactive Constraint Satisfaction Platform, and at Xerox Research Center Europe, where they introduced document transformation services to Cloud Computing.
Sergio San Miguel completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble. Sergio attended this school from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 2003 and 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Sergio San Miguel also received a certification in Human-Computer Interaction from Stanford University. Sergio obtained this certification in December 2012.
