Gayathri Subramanian

Gayathri Subramanian has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over 18 years. Gayathri is currently a Senior Director - HR, India at SymphonyAI, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director HR at SymphonyAI from May 2018 to December 2022.

Before joining SymphonyAI, Gayathri was Director HR at Nalashaa Solutions from February 2014 to May 2018. In this role, they partnered with the business to formulate people policies and manage various HR functions such as talent acquisition, talent management, rewards, HR operations, and retention. Gayathri also focused on employee engagement at different levels within the organization.

Gayathri's earlier experience includes roles at Symphony Teleca, where they worked as a Senior Manager HR from January 2012 to January 2014, as well as Manager HR from January 2011 to December 2011, and Associate Manager HR from July 2010 to May 2011. Gayathri also worked at Proteans Software Solutions as a Lead HR from January 2010 to July 2010.

Their career began at Silver Atena, where they joined as a recruitment executive before transitioning into a generalist role. During their time at Silver Atena from May 2004 to January 2010, they were responsible for employee retention, motivation, and performance appraisal, both in the UK and India. Gayathri also mentored graduate trainees through a 4-month training program annually.

Before entering the HR field, Gayathri worked as a Researcher at BTI Consultants from October 2003 to May 2004.

Gayathri Subramanian completed their PUC degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Karnatak University from 1995 to 1997. Gayathri then pursued their BE degree in Engineering at Siddaganga Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2001. Currently, they are enrolled in the Executive Program for Strategic Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, expected to be completed in 2023.
