Thomas Jepsen

President International at Symplicity

Thomas Jepsen has extensive work experience in various leadership and sales roles. Thomas served as the President International at Symplicity Corporation since January 2021, previously holding the position of Vice President International from 2017 to 2021. At Blackboard, Thomas held several roles including Vice President Sales and Regional Vice President Sales in the SEEMEA region. Thomas also led the International Collaborate division, achieving significant growth. Prior to that, Thomas worked at Wimba, where they served as the VP Sales and Director of European Operations, playing a key role in establishing the company as a leader in collaborative SaaS software for Education. Thomas also had roles as Director of Sales EMEA and Regional Sales Manager Europe. Thomas co-founded OfficeAcrobat, a start-up that provided office relocation management solutions, where they raised investment and established partnerships with global real estate players. Thomas started their career as a Project Manager at International Mediahouse AG, overseeing the creation and deployment of online shopping portals.

Thomas Jepsen began their education in 1991 as a Rotary Exchange Student in Brasil. Following this experience, they attended Aarhus Business College from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Higher Commercial Exam (HHX) with a focus on Business College studies. In 1995-1996, they furthered their education at DAV, Deutsche Aussenhandels- und Verkehrsakademie. Thomas then pursued a BA in International Business at the University of San Francisco from 1997 to 2000, specializing in International Business Finance and Marketing. Most recently, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2012 and completed an Executive MBA at the Judge Business School.
