Gustavo Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Environmental Engineer at IPEQ until 2008. Gustavo then joined Vale as a Health & Safety Engineer from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Regional EHS Coordinator for South America at Howden. After that, they worked at Alstom Power as an EHS Coordinator for the Hydro Business from 2010 to 2011. Gustavo then joined Reckitt Benckiser as the Brazil EHS Coordinator from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they held various roles at Alstom Power, including EHS Manager for the Onshore Wind LATAM Region from 2012 to 2014 and EHS Manager for the Onshore Wind EMEA Region from 2014 to 2015. Gustavo then transitioned to GE Renewable Energy as the Global EHS Manager for Offshore Wind from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are with Symrise AG, where they have held roles such as Global Safety Director at Symrise Nutrition from 2019 to 2021, Global Safety Director for Taste, Nutrition & Health from 2021 to 2023, and Vice President Global Safety at Symrise starting from February 2023.
Gustavo Larsen completed a Master's degree in Occupational Safety Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná in 2007-2008. Gustavo also pursued a Master's degree in Railway Engineering at PUC Minas in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Environmental Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná between 2001 and 2006.
