John Eastman

John Eastman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and positions. John is currently working at Synacor as the VP of Product and Engineering for Zimbra since July 2022. Prior to this, they held roles as the Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of Client Solutions at Synacor. Before joining Synacor, John worked at Zimbra as the SVP of Product Development and VP of Platform Engineering. John also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Mezeo Software, which was later acquired by Zimbra. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Chief Architect at SimDesk Technologies Inc. and Lead Software Engineer at SimDesk Technologies Inc. John also worked as a Solutions Architect at Wellspring Solutions and as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Sky. John's work experience dates back to 1995 when they started as a Software Design Engineer at Interactive Systems International.

John Eastman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Centre College from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained various certifications in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence from Coursera, including “Sequence Models,” “Deep Learning Specialization,” “Convolutional Neural Networks,” “Customer Segmentation and Prospecting,” “Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization,” “Neural Networks and Deep Learning,” and “Structuring Machine Learning Projects.” The certifications were obtained between December 2021 and June 2022.
