Sandesh Almeida

Sandesh Almeida has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sandesh is currently serving as the Vice President at Jio Platforms Limited since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director and Vice President for Zimbra India at Synacor from 2015 to the present. In this role, they were responsible for driving product engineering, quality engineering, program management, and innovation.

Before joining Synacor, Sandesh worked at Zimbra as the Managing Director and Senior Director for Zimbra India from 2013 to 2015. Sandesh then moved to VMware, where they served as the Senior Manager for Zimbra India from 2010 to 2013.

Sandesh's earlier work experience includes roles at Saba Software as a Software Manager from 2006 to 2010, at Adobe Systems as a Sr. Software Engineer from 2004 to 2006, at HCL Technologies as a Sr. Member Technical Staff from 2003 to 2004, and at Zycus as a Sr. Content Developer from 2000 to 2003.

Throughout their career, Sandesh has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams, driving product development, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Sandesh has also contributed to various stages of product lifecycle management, including release milestones and localization.
