Mario Asiain-Diaz

Mario Asiain-Diaz has extensive work experience in the media and telecommunications industry. Mario currently holds the position of VP, Head of Global Services, Video Networks at Synamedia since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at MediaKind as the VP, LatAm from 2019 to 2020 and as the VP of Customer Operations, Americas from 2018 to 2019. Before joining MediaKind, they served in various leadership roles at Ericsson from 2009 to 2018, including VP Head of Global Services, SA TV & Media and VP Head of Services, Business Line Compression. Mario also worked at Tandberg Television from 1999 to 2009, where they held positions such as VP Operations and Senior Director of Systems Engineering. Mario Asiain-Diaz started their career at Televisa as the Manager of Compression Systems and Satellite Control Center from 1996 to 1999.

From 1990 to 1995, Mario Asiain-Diaz studied Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Telecommunications at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
