Philip Eash-Gates currently serves as a Principal Associate at Synapse Energy Economics, where responsibilities include conducting analysis and research on energy policy, efficiency, and distributed energy resources, with a focus on building decarbonization, resiliency, and equity. Previously held positions include Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where quantitative models and engineering cost tools were developed for clean energy technology projects, and Director of Efficiency Projects at CVAL Innovations LLC, leading a team to achieve significant energy consumption reductions. Philip also established the first Energy Management Division for the City of San Antonio and has contributed to various sustainability initiatives in the region. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics from Trinity University.
