Ragan Chizmar, MSN, has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and HR fields. They started their career as an Age Group Director at the California Alumni Association, where they developed engaging activities for young children. They then moved on to become an Assistant Manager at the same organization, where they managed schedules and promoted teamwork among staff. Ragan also worked as an HR Coordinator and later as an Accounts Team Lead at Lumos Labs, where they analyzed customer data and managed teams to improve workflow and efficiency.

In 2019, Ragan transitioned to the healthcare field, starting as an ICU Nursing Student at ST. AGNES MEDICAL CENTER. They then worked as both an Intensive Care Nurse and a Step-down ICU and Cardiac Telemetry Nurse at Sutter Health. Their responsibilities included providing patient care and monitoring their condition.

Most recently, Ragan worked as a Trauma and Neurosciences ICU Registered Nurse at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. They provided specialized care to trauma and neurosciences patients.

Currently, Ragan is employed as a Field Clinical Engineer at Synchron, where they utilize their nursing knowledge to support the implementation and use of medical devices in clinical settings.

Ragan Chizmar, MSN, obtained a Master's degree in Nursing from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, where they studied from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, Ragan also attended the Anglo-American University in Prague, where they focused on International Relations.
