Brendan Harmon

Brendan Harmon has been working in the medical field since 2007. In that time, they have held various positions, including Research Assistant & IGERT Nanomedicine Fellow at Northeastern University, Lab Manager at Tufts University School of Medicine, Research Consultant for himself, Teaching Faculty- Medical Sciences at Summerfuel, Science Test Development Specialist at the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Senior Assessment Specialist, Science at The College Board, Science Assessment Editor, Consultant at WestEd, and Biomedical Writer at Cadent Medical Communications. Most recently, they have been working as a Medical Writer at Synchrony Group, LLC, where they are responsible for creating and editing medical communications and promotional education content, participating in medical, legal, and regulatory reviews, and helping clients develop a strategy that communicates and differentiates their brand effectively.

Brendan Harmon obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology, Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2003 and 2007. Brendan then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology from Northeastern University between 2007 and 2013. In 2014, they obtained a Biology Teacher, 8-12 (Massachusetts) certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
