Shannon Miller has extensive work experience in the field of medical communications and client services. Shannon is currently serving as the President of Synchrony Medical Communications and the Chief Client Officer of Synchrony Group since June 2023. Prior to this, Shannon worked as the EVP Managing Director at Real Chemistry from May 2022 to July 2023. Before that, they held the position of EVP Managing Director at 21GRAMS from April 2021 to May 2022.
Shannon's earlier experience includes serving as the Head of US Client Services at Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare plc from October 2016 to April 2021. Shannon also worked as the Vice President of Customer Engagement and Medical Communications Practice Lead at Synchrony Medical Communications from May 2015 to October 2016.
Prior to joining Synchrony Medical Communications, Shannon held the role of Vice President of Client Services at Echelon Brand Communications from January 2014 to May 2015. Shannon also served as the Vice President of Business Operations at Practicing Clinicians Exchange from May 2012 to January 2014, where they led teams and implemented strategies to enhance operational performance and develop new product lines.
Shannon gained valuable experience as the Director of the integrated medical communications division at Global Prairie from April 2009 to May 2012. Shannon was responsible for launching digital communications solutions and overseeing advocacy initiatives and content development projects.
Before joining Global Prairie, Shannon held the position of Vice President of the East Network at Advogent from October 2002 to April 2009. In this role, they managed a multimillion-dollar communications portfolio and led an integrated team to develop new products and unique offerings.
Earlier in their career, Shannon worked at Vox Medica as a Senior Group Supervisor from August 2000 to October 2002. Shannon managed the account services team and played a key role in strategic planning, business development, and operations.

Shannon Miller obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications and English from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
