Arnaud Hemmerle

Beamline scientist on SIRIUS beamline at SYNCHROTRON SOLEIL

Arnaud Hemmerle has a range of experience in scientific research and teaching. Arnaud held positions as a Beamline Scientist at Synchrotron SOLEIL, a Post-doc in biophysics at the Centre Interdisciplinaire de Nanoscience de Marseille, and a Post-doc in granular physics at MPI Research. In these roles, they conducted research on cellular adhesion, developed models for studying cohesive granular materials, and characterized the physical properties of lipid membranes. Additionally, Arnaud worked as a Teaching Assistant at Université de Strasbourg and gained experience in teaching physics and managing classroom activities. Arnaud also had summer jobs at OTE INGENIERIE, where they worked in technical drawing and cartography. Arnaud's expertise includes microscopy techniques, X-ray synchrotron facilities, and teaching methods.

Arnaud Hemmerle has a strong background in physics and related fields. Arnaud obtained their PhD in Physics from the University of Strasbourg, where they pursued their research from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Condensed Matter and Nanophysics at the same university from 2008 to 2010. Arnaud also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Engineering, which they earned from the University of Strasbourg in 2008. Furthermore, they attended Lycée Kléber in Strasbourg from 2005 to 2007, where they studied mathematics and physics in preparation for the French "Grandes Ecoles."

In addition to their formal education, Arnaud Hemmerle has also obtained a certification in project management. In September 2017, they completed the "MOOC Gestion de Projet, attestation session 10, parcours classique" from the MOOC Gestion de Projet institution.
