Andrew Cossar

Andrew Cossar is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in investment law and corporate transactions. Currently serving as Executive Partner and General Counsel at Syncona Limited since July 2017, Andrew focuses on the company’s strategic vision in the life sciences sector. Prior to this role, Andrew was Chief Investment Counsel at Wellcome Trust from March 2008 to June 2017, leading the Investment Legal team for a substantial global portfolio. Earlier experience includes positions as a Corporate Solicitor at CMS UK and Fyfe Ireland Solicitors, as well as a Trainee Solicitor at Anderson Fyfe. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow.
