Michael Liberman has over a decade of work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Michael has held various leadership positions in renowned companies such as Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Turning Point Therapeutics, Genentech, and Roche.

At Syndax Pharmaceuticals, Michael currently serves as the Senior Director of Medical Affairs. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing medical affairs activities and providing strategic guidance.

Prior to their current position, Michael worked as the Executive Director of Medical Affairs at Turning Point Therapeutics. Here, they developed and executed strategies for generating medical evidence for oncology drugs in the pipeline, with a focus on solid tumors and rare diseases. Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Roche in various roles. As a Regional Oncology & Hematology Medical Leader, they directed a team of medical managers, oversaw regional medical planning, and chaired portfolio data generation initiatives. Michael also served as a Medical Manager, providing clinical oversight and guidance across multiple therapeutic areas.

Michael Liberman has a Bachelor's degree in Health Services/Allied Health/Health Sciences, General from Universidad Autónoma de Centro América, which they earned between 1996 and 1998. Michael went on to obtain a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at the same university from 1998 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in business administration and marketing at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica between 2012 and 2015. Most recently, they completed a Master's Degree in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2016 to 2019.
