Maarten van Steenbergen

Maarten van Steenbergen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and digital transformation across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Synechron since April 2020, Maarten is focused on accelerating digital initiatives within the FinTech sector. Prior roles include serving as CTO and principal architect at Yucat Mobile Business Solutions, where end-to-end solutions for government clients were developed, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Keylane, which specializes in SaaS solutions for the insurance sector. Maarten also led significant digital transformation efforts as a Lead Developer and Software Architect at Santander Consumer Finance Benelux and contributed to multiple projects as a Senior Software Engineer at Plag Websucces. Earlier in the career, Maarten gained entrepreneurial experience as the owner of Open IT and worked as a developer at Wilmar Info Systems. Maarten holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Utrecht University and completed VWO at Christelijk Lyceum Zeist.
