Tim Jones

Tim Jones is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and digital transformation, currently serving as a Principal Consultant at Synechron since November 2024. Prior to this role, Tim contributed to various projects across multiple organizations, including serving as a Software Engineer at Upwind Security and as a Solution Architect for HSBC, where Tim worked on GCP-based big data services. Tim's prior positions included roles as Production Engineer at CME Group and a series of engineering and leadership positions at SAP, State Street, and Mintel, culminating in a robust background in cloud security, data processing, and team management. Tim holds a PhD in Forensic Science & Image Processing from Queen's University Belfast and a BSc in Computing from the University of Plymouth.
