Peter Ahn has over 12 years of work experience in the field of data analysis and programming. Peter began their career in 2008 as a Survey Statistician at the US Census Bureau, where they performed data analysis, cleanup, and management based on surveying service industries with SAS and Microsoft Excel. In 2009, they became an Analyst (Intern) at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they implemented and evaluated complex algorithms and detected statistical anomalies based on data from Tricare, a military health insurance program. In 2016, they returned to Synectics for Management Decisions, Inc. as a SAS Developer, where they supported the Behavioral Health Services Information System (BHSIS) Report for HHS agency SAMHSA. In 2021, they moved to Hendall Inc. as a Data Analyst. Most recently, they are a Senior Statistical Programmer at Synectics for Management Decisions, Inc.

Peter Ahn received their BS in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Virginia Tech between 2000 and 2005. Peter then attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their MS in Applied and Computational Mathematics. In 2012, they obtained their SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS. In 2015, they earned their SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 from SAS.
