Marah Armouti, PhD, currently serves as Assistant Scientific Director and Scientific Associate at Synergy Medical Communications since August 2021. Prior experience includes five years as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago, where research culminated in a doctoral thesis on the role of Salt Inducible Kinases in ovarian granulosa cells, accompanied by presentations at various conferences. Previously, Marah worked as a Research Assistant at Biomedical Acoustics Research Company, conducting experiments that involved accelerometers to detect heart vibrations and assessing these devices on cardiac patients at Rush University Medical Center. Marah earned a PhD in Reproductive Physiology from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Benedictine University.
