Tom Rumboll has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tom currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of SYNETIQ, a leading motor dismantler in the UK. Prior to this role, they were the Executive Chairman of SYNETIQ and played a crucial role in the merger of several companies to create the organization.

Before their tenure at SYNETIQ, Tom owned and directed TR Advisory Ltd, where they provided advisory services to SME, corporate, and charity clients. Their areas of expertise included M&A, growth drivers, operating efficiencies, business development, and client management.

Tom also worked at Company Shop Ltd as the Commercial Director, where they had P&L responsibility and played a vital role in the commercial reorganization of the company. Tom was also responsible for strategic and tactical marketing and communications activities.

During their time at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, Tom held various positions including Relationship Director, Business Development Director, Business Development Manager, Corporate Manager, and Graduate Trainee. In these roles, they gained experience in corporate banking and built strong relationships with clients, resulting in significant asset and income growth.

Tom Rumboll's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Myers Grove Comprehensive, where they completed their GCSE's. Tom then went on to study at Tapton Sixth Form from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained their A Levels in Economics, Geography, and Sociology.

From 1996 to 1999, Tom attended Newcastle University, earning a BA (Hons) in Business Management. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management at ACCA, affiliated with Leeds University, from 2003 to 2005.

In 2007 and 2008, Tom obtained an MCIM degree from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), specializing in Post Graduate Professional Diploma.

In 2014 and 2015, Tom attended The University of Sheffield and completed a European Business Growth Catalyst program in association with Esade, earning a degree in European Business Growth Catalyst.
