Nicholas Zwart

Nicholas Zwart has over 17 years of work experience in various roles. Nicholas started their career in 2005 as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Barrow Neurological Institute, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institute. Nicholas then became a Research Associate Professor at Barrow Neurological Institute from 2012 to 2017.

In 2017, Nicholas joined Hyperfine Research, Inc. as a Senior Software Architect/Engineer, and they stayed with the company until 2020. At Hyperfine Research, Inc., they gained experience in the medical technology industry.

Currently, Nicholas is employed at Synex Medical, where they hold the position of Principal Software Architect, starting in December 2020. In January 2022, they were promoted to Software Manager. Nicholas'swork at Synex Medical is focused on software development and management.

Nicholas Zwart began their education at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering. From 2005 to 2008, they pursued further studies at Arizona State University, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Nicholas continued their education at Arizona State University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering between 2008 and 2011.
