Jen Williams

Senior Research Scientist at Syngenta

Jen Williams is a Senior Research Scientist at Syngenta, specializing in research entomology within the Insect & Herbicide Trait Discovery group since August 2020. Previously, Jen served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where the dissertation project focused on diamide modulation of the ryanodine receptor in beneficial insect species. Earlier experience includes leading a research team at Bayer Crop Science on insecticidal re-registration, and conducting various studies related to bee health and welfare at the Bayer Bee Care Center. Jen holds a PhD in Entomology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master's degree in Entomology from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science with a minor in Entomology, also from Virginia Tech.
