Andreas Engel

Andreas Engel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andreas is currently the VP for Central EMEA and the Managing Director for the D/A/CH Region at Syniti. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at Sales Excellence Consulting. Andreas also served as the VP for Central EMEA and the Managing Director for the D/A/CH Region at SUSE from 2020 to 2021. Before joining SUSE, Andreas worked at Microsoft, where they held various positions including Director of Sales Excellence & Strategy, Senior Manager of Worldwide Sales Strategy, and Sales Leadership for the Enterprise Specialist Sales Unit. Andreas also worked at IONA Technologies as the Regional Sales Lead for the Germany, Switzerland, and Austria region and at Sun Microsystems as a Solution Sales and Enterprise Sales representative. Andreas began their career as a Software Design Engineer at CKS Systeme GmbH & Co.KG.

Andreas Engel obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) between 1994 and 1997. In addition to this degree, they have also obtained certifications in "Measure Salesforce Effectiveness" from LinkedIn and "Microsoft-INSEAD Online Challenging Customers through Business Model Innovation" from INSEAD Executive Education, in 2017 and 2016 respectively.
