Erast Wortel

Erast Wortel has extensive work experience, starting in 1992 with SAP Nederland BV where they held various positions in consulting, sales, and management. Erast then served as a Global Account Manager and later as a Business Alliance Manager. Erast played a key role in positioning SAP as the number one SCM vendor during their time as a Solution Sales SCM. Wortel also served as a Director Alliances and as a Global Client Manager for Shell, where they established an engagement model to maximize the value of SAP. In 2015, they joined Utopia Global, Inc. as a Regional Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on asset management and retail master data. In 2022, they became the Regional Vice President for Europe at Prometheus Group, and in 2023, they joined Syniti as the VP GTM EMEA North. Wortel also has entrepreneurial experience, as they founded Wortel Management Services bv in 2015.

Erast Wortel completed a Postgraduate degree in Large Account Sales from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2002-2003. Additionally, they earned a CPIM certification in Certified Production and Inventory Management from the APICS institute in 1998-1999.
