Gabriella Amato

Gabriella Amato is a biomedical analyst with extensive experience in laboratory operations and research. From April 2021 to June 2024 at MEDISYN SA, Gabriella specialized in special chemistry, focusing on drug therapy monitoring and the quantitative analysis of trace elements in biological samples, while also serving as Shift Leader in the Covid area, overseeing production quality, team management, and compliance with internal SOPs. Previously, Gabriella completed a Master's thesis internship at the Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi, investigating cortical alterations in a murine model of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, and conducted a Bachelor's thesis internship at the University of Eastern Finland on PACAP's role in migraine pathogenesis. Gabriella holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences/Neurosciences from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology for Health from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, and has pursued additional clinical research training.
