Mitchell Smith

Mitchell Smith is a Geographic Information System Specialist at RAIC Labs, formerly known as Synthetaic, since March 2022. Prior to this role, Mitchell served as GIS Technician II at UDC Inc. from May 2019 to March 2022, gaining extensive experience in major data divisions and working on significant projects for Pacific Gas & Electric related to housing density, land usage, and gas service records. Earlier experience includes serving as a GIS Specialist at the Fiscal & Economic Research Center, collaborating with faculty and students to provide consulting services across various industries, and working as a data processing intern at Roadview, where responsibilities included analyzing and exporting DOT assets using lidar technology. Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Cartography from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
