Jianna Sode

Jianna Sode has a diverse range of work experience. In 2011, they worked as an intern at ThermFlo, where they assisted the Vice President with budgeting and maintained records of employee activity. From 2012 to 2015, they were a manager at Chi Town Dogs, responsible for handling inventory orders and banking transactions. In 2016, they worked as an environmental consultant at Northern Illinois University, where they designed handicap accessible bridges and analyzed biodiversity within local water systems. From 2016 to 2017, they were a part-time manager at Charter Fitness. In 2017, they served as a greenhouse assistant at Ron Cleasons Ornamental Plants and a research associate at the Naval Health Research Center. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a greenhouse lab technician at Synthetic Genomics. Currently, they hold the position of Research Associate II at Viridos, starting in 2022.

Jianna Sode attended Northern Illinois University from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Nature and Society.
