Barlev Raymond's work experience begins in 2014 as a Project Engineer at Chalmers Formula Student, where they worked until 2015. Barlev then moved on to the National Chemical Laboratory, where they conducted a Bachelor Thesis project on flow boiling in a vertical heat exchanger from 2014 to 2014. In 2016, they worked at Chalmers University of Technology as part of their Master Thesis, focusing on aero-acoustics sources from the wake of a car. Following this, they joined Iowa State University in 2018 as a Graduate Research Assistant, working on computational reacting multiphase flows. Barlev also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting Professor Shankar Subramaniam in the Undergraduate Fluid Flows course. Most recently, Barlev joined Synthetik Applied Technologies in 2022 as a Research and Development Engineer.

Barlev Raymond completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2014. Barlev then pursued a Masters in Applied Mechanics at Chalmers University of Technology from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are enrolled in Iowa State University for their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, starting in 2018.
