Jeff Heylmun

Jeff Heylmun has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an Intern at Bison Gear & Engineering. In 2013, they interned at Elemech, Inc. and also worked as a Peer Mentor at Iowa State College of Mechanical Engineering. Jeff joined ACS in 2014 as a Machine Design Intern. From 2015 to 2019, Jeff worked as a Research Assistant at Iowa State University. Currently, they are the Research Development Lead at Synthetik Applied Technologies, starting in October 2019.

Jeff Heylmun attended Batavia High School from 2006 to 2011. Jeff then enrolled at Iowa State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2011 to 2015. Jeff further pursued their education at Iowa State University, from 2015 to 2019, and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Fluid Dynamics.
