Brad McManus

Brad McManus is the Director at Syntiant. Brad was previously the Managing Director at Motorola Solutions Venture Capital from May 2015 to November 2020. In this role, they led the team that actively scouted, evaluated, invested in, and managed the global minority equity opportunities strategic to Motorola Solutions' core and emerging businesses. The Motorola Solutions Venture Capital team was responsible for identifying and investing in startups that were developing compelling new technologies and new businesses that strategically and financially benefit Motorola Solutions. MSVC investments include Mojo Vision (augmented reality), Nok Nok Labs (cybersecurity/authentication), SeamlessDocs (government CRM), Syntiant (artificial intelligence), Greenkey (audio analytics), Paravision (video analytics), Evolv (threat detection), Neurala (artificial intelligence) among others.

Prior to their role at Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Brad was the Co-founder and Managing Partner at Capbridge Ventures from April 2013 to April 2015. Before Capbridge Ventures, they were the Director, Venture Group at Panasonic from January 2002 to December 2013.

Brad McManus received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northern Illinois University with a focus in finance and economics.
