Stephen Flint

Stephen Flint is a seasoned hardware designer with extensive experience in the design and development of communication and Ethernet switch products, demonstrating expertise in high-speed digital design, architectural design, schematic entry, PCB layout, and signal integrity. Since November 2015, Stephen has served as a Senior Hardware Designer at Syntronic, focusing on communication products and engaging in various technical aspects including CPLD development using Verilog and RF interfacing. Previous roles include Senior Hardware Designer at Lenovo and IBM, Principal Engineer at Blade Network Research, and significant engineering positions at Nortel, DY 4 Systems Inc., Racal Defence Systems, Tran Communications Inc., Raytheon Systems Canada Ltd., and Marconi-Elliot Avionic Systems Limited. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Hull, earned between 1973 and 1977.
