Denise Baker

Denise Baker, RN, BSN, CCM, currently serves as the Director of Quality Improvement at Syracuse Community Health Center, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Denise was a Supervisor at Molina Health Care from February 2017 to August 2021, where oversight included key quality improvement strategies. Between March 2016 and February 2017, Denise worked as a Nurse Case Manager at CNA Insurance, focusing on assessing disability status and coordinating medical evidence for functionality evaluations. Previously, Denise held a similar position at Liberty Mutual Insurance from December 2009 to March 2016, managing medical and disability cases to facilitate claim resolutions. Denise started her career at Syracuse Community Health Center, working in Quality Assurance/Utilization Review from February 2001 to December 2009 and also as Pediatric Nurse Manager and Staff Nurse at the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc. Denise holds a Bachelor's degree from Chamberlain University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Crouse Hospital School of Nursing.
