Matthew Andersen

Matthew Andersen has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 25 years. Matthew has held various roles in different companies in the IT and technology industry.

Starting from 1994, Matthew worked as a QA Engineer at Microsoft for almost three years. Matthew then moved on to Compaq Corporation, where they served as a Systems Engineer for two years.

In 1999, Matthew joined vJungle as the Director of Information Technology. Matthew held this position until 2001 when they transitioned to Saflink Corporation, where they served as the Senior Director of Information Technology and also took on additional management roles in Sales Engineering and Customer Service.

From 2006 to 2008, Matthew worked as the Director of Information Technology at Insightful Corporation, where they provided executive leadership for global IT operations. Matthew then joined TIBCO Software as the Director of IT from 2006 to 2009.

Following their role at TIBCO Software, Matthew worked as the Director of IT at Reischling Press Incorporated from 2009 to 2012. Matthew was responsible for all aspects of IT for the company's front office and manufacturing floor.

From 2012 to 2015, Matthew worked at Nimble Storage, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Sales Engineer, System Engineering Manager, and Director of System Engineering (West). During their tenure, they achieved impressive sales results and demonstrated leadership in building successful teams.

In 2018, Matthew joined Sysdig as the WW Director of Sales Engineering, contributing to the development of the company's cloud-native intelligence platform. In September 2021, they were promoted to the role of VP of Global Sales Engineering, where they continue to make significant contributions to the company.

Lastly, Matthew co-owned and managed TheTVDB.com, a community-driven site for TV show descriptions and artwork, from 2004 to 2020.

Matthew Andersen attended Cascade High School from 1986 to 1991. Matthew did not obtain any degree or focus on any particular field of study at that institution. In 2022, they obtained a certification as a Kraken Hunter from Sysdig.
