Markus Schmolling

Markus Schmolling has extensive work experience in the tech industry. Markus started their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Systema Gesellschaft für angewandte Datentechnik mbH in June 2011 and remained in this role until December 2016. Afterwards, in January 2017, they became the Head of Consulting at the same company, a position they held until July 2019. In March 2014, they also joined the IT Management Board of Systema Gesellschaft für angewandte Datentechnik mbH, where they served until April 2020. In August 2019, Markus was promoted to the role of Head of Sales and Business Development at the same company, a position they currently hold.

In addition to their work at Systema Gesellschaft für angewandte Datentechnik mbH, Markus is also the Founder and CEO of adopd, starting from February 2019 till the present. adopd is a Digital Adoption Platform that helps secure digital adoption within organizations, enhances employee engagement, and reduces operational costs. Markus has played a pivotal role in developing adopd's functionalities and ensuring effective implementation of digital adoption strategies.

Markus Schmolling began their education in 2008 at OSZ Technik Teltow, where they pursued a degree in Fachinformatiker with a specialization in Systemintegration. Markus attended this school until 2011.

In 2009, Markus Schmolling enrolled at FernUniversität in Hagen and studied Wirtschaftsinformatik until 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Markus Schmolling obtained several certifications. In June 2017, they earned the ITIL 2011 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In November 2017, they earned the ITIL Intermediate certification, also from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In January 2015, Markus Schmolling became a Cisco Certified Design Professional, and in the same month and year, they also achieved the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching certification. In August 2016, they obtained the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Collaboration No. 53729 certification. Their latest certification is the Cisco Customer Success Manager, which they acquired from Cisco in March 2021.
