Yousef Alabssi

Yousef Alabssi has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Yousef started their career in 2005 as a System Analyzer & Developer at ZeroOne expert systems. Yousef then joined MTN-Syria in 2006, where they worked as a VAS and PS Engineer, VAS&PS core supervisor, and later became the Packet and IP Core Manager. In 2012, they moved to MTN and held the role of Packet and IP Core Manager for a brief period. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Nokia as a Packet Core and MPBN Central Expert. Following this, they joined P3 Communications Inc in 2014 and held the role of Evolved Packet Core Consultant. Yousef also worked as a Technical Staff, Senior Engineer, IP/EPC during their time at P3 Communications Inc. In 2017, they continued their career at T-Mobile, first as a Sr. Engineer, Systems Design and eventually transitioning to the role of Principal Engineer in 2020.

Yousef Alabssi has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Damascus University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Software and Information System Engineering from the same institution. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to be completed in 2023.
