Peter Smohay

Peter Smohay has a diverse range of work experience in Database Administration and Information Resourcing. Their most recent role is as a Senior Database Administrator at T-Systems Hungary Ltd., where they currently work. Prior to this, they worked as a Database Administrator at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, DEKRA, Aegon Global Technology Services - Budapest, and IBM. At IBM, they focused on physical administration of MSSQL servers ranging from SQL 2000 to 2016. Before their roles in database administration, Peter worked as an Information Resourcer at Lechner Tudásközpont, where they maintained and queried Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. Peter also had a role as a Librarian at Székesfehérvári Püspöki Könyvtár from 2010 to 2013.

Peter Smohay completed their education in a chronological order. Peter obtained a Master's degree in Pálinkamester from Szent István Egyetem from the years 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science from Nyugat-Magyarországi Egyetem between 2006 and 2009.

Before their university studies, Peter attended Váci Piarista Gimnázium from 2002 to 2006, where they completed their high school education.

In addition to their formal education, Peter has also obtained several certifications. Peter completed the Oracle 12c Database: Administration course through LinkedIn in June 2021. In January 2020, they obtained the SentryOne Training for End Users certification from SentryOne. Prior to that, in September 2019, they completed the Microsoft SQL Server 2016: Query Data course through LinkedIn. Lastly, in September 2018, they obtained the SQL Server 2017: What's New certification, also through LinkedIn.
