Shalin S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting with their most recent position, Shalin worked at T2 Biosystems as a Senior Medical Affairs Manager since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Medical Affairs Specialist at the same company from August 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining T2 Biosystems, Shalin worked at Amplity Health, where they held the role of Medical Science Liaison, contracted to GlaxoSmithKline's Benlysta. In this role, they interacted with healthcare professionals to address clinical inquiries and establish relationships with key opinion leaders. Shalin also worked as an ASM Laboratory Capacity Consultant at the American Society for Microbiology from May 2017 to September 2017. In this role, they provided consulting services to clinical microbiology laboratories in regions such as sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean, focusing on capacity building and diagnostics.

In addition, Shalin has experience as a Medical Tour Guide at Goamit.com in 2011, where they provided medical assistance to trekkers and hikers in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir, India. They managed altitude sickness and gastrointestinal issues.

Shalin S. has a diverse education history spanning various fields. In 2002, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from Touro University. From 1997 to 2002, Shalin attended Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad, where they earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree, specializing in Medicine.

After their undergraduate studies, Shalin pursued further education at Saint Matthew's School of Medicine/AIMU from 2013 to 2016, earning a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. In the same year, they also completed the USMLE Step 1 Exam, administered by the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination).

In 2010, Shalin enrolled in Davenport University and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management in 2012. They then proceeded to The George Washington University from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Masters of Public Health Program Development & Evaluation with global public health certification. During this period, Shalin also obtained the Global Public Health Generalist certification from George Washington University.

Shalin's pursuit of knowledge continues, as they are currently completing a course in Immuno-oncology and Precision Genetic Testing at Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Medical Education. They are also in the process of obtaining an SQIL Certification in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Harvard University.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Shalin has obtained various certifications. In 2005, they became a Licensed Golf Instructor through the United States Golf Teachers Federation. In 2007, they obtained the Medical Doctor (M.D.) - Clinical Academic certification from ECFMG. Later, in 2013, they successfully passed the USMLE Step 2 Clinical Knowledge Exam, followed by their completion of the USMLE Step 2 Clinical Skills Exam in June 2021.
