Sergei Nikitin

Sergei Nikitin has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sergei is currently the Founder and CEO of FemtoVision, LLC, a position they have held since January 2017. Prior to that, they worked at T8 l INFINITE TECHNOLOGIES as the Head of Scientific group and as a Research Project Leader, starting in 2013. From 2005 to 2012, they served as a Principal Scientist at RSI Inc / Naval Research Lab. Before that, they worked at Quantronix Corporation as a Scientist and R&D Manager for Ultrafast and Scientific Lasers from 1999 to 2005. Their career began at the P.N.Lebedev Physical Institute, where they worked as a Research Assistant from 1990 to 1992.

Sergei Nikitin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Eng.-Phys. with a specialization in Physical and Quantum Electronics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) between the years 1984 and 1990. Sergei then pursued higher education and completed their PhD in Physics at the University of Maryland, from the period of 1992 to 1998.
